From now, pupils can add credit to the system by using their finger print, saving time with lost cards and means pupils do not have to carry large sums of money round with them all day.

If you have any questions regarding the new system please contact us. The student's finger print is just held on our servers as a random math calculation, no actual finger print images are stored on any system.

How to use the Biometric System

TO SCAN YOUR FINGER:

1.       Place your registered finger on the reader and hold in place

2.       When your details are displayed on-screen, remove your finger from the reader.

TO RE-VALUE YOUR ACCOUNT:

Check the green light is on

1.   PLACE YOUR REGISTERED FINGER ON THE READER

      Your name and account balance are displayed and the green light is off (Now remove your finger from the reader)

2.   INSERT YOUR COINS/NOTES

     (Coins accepted: 10p, 20p, 50p £1, £2)

     (Notes accepted: £5, £10, £20)

      Your new balance is displayed

 TO CHECK YOUR BALANCE:

 Check the green light is on

  1.    PLACE YOUR REGISTERED FINGER ON THE READER

         Check your balance on the screen (Now remove your finger from the reader)

2.       PRESS THE RED BUTTON!!!

 The green light is now on

REMEMBER; DO NOT WALK AWAY WITHOUT PRESSING THE RED BUTTON!
