Exciting New Project!

Adventure in Nepal

Students in 8B2 have been lucky enough to be involved in a Connecting Classrooms project this academic year with Mr Young, Miss Woodhall Mrs Johnson.

The project entitled, Adventure in Nepal, involves students at FBEC linking up with Nightingale International school in Nepal to get an idea of what life is like in a different country. FBEC students have designed a questionnaire for the Nepalese students to complete and in return FBEC students will answer some similar questions. Students both here at FBEC and Nepal will also be completing work around the United Nations Millennium Development goals.

Mr Young is hoping that students will be able to have a Skype call with each other later in the year to look at the different adventure activities you can do in both Nepal and UK.

Mr Young and Miss Woodhall will also have the opportunity to visit Nepal in February and hopefully plan a visit for a teacher in Nepal to come and visit our school and students in the Summer

Take a look at the work students have been doing and look out for more exciting news about the project soon!
